Who I am
Writing is my passion. I'm the Content Principal for Insureon, the leading online marketplace for small business insurance.
My focus is web content, but I love print too. You can find my articles in newspapers, magazines, fiction anthologies, and various other publications you can hold in your hands.
You can find me in real life in an unreal place, Silicon Valley.
Where I'm from
I grew up in Clinton, CT and started out as a journalist for my hometown newspaper. At Shore Publishing, I wrote articles on every topic under the sun: "Person of the Week" profiles, real estate listings, wedding guides, home improvement how-tos, and the occasional crime. (It's mostly a quiet place.)
I am honored to have met and captured the stories of hundreds of town officials, community leaders, and volunteers whose generosity knows no bounds.
In 2011, I drove across the country to a new home in Oregon. There I wrote for The Corvallis Gazette-Times, The Rogue Valley Messenger, The Corvallis Advocate, and other publications. My articles have appeared in over a dozen newspapers, along with magazines on both coasts.

What I do
I'm a digital content expert. Soon after joining Insureon, I led a team of six contractors in the migration of our websites to a new content management system. The project involved writing and editing more than a thousand articles on business insurance topics.
Thanks to my continuing work at Insureon, I'm an expert on small business insurance. Our 1,500+ educational web pages are referenced by Forbes and other publications.
Every day I create compelling online content to satisfy the needs of small business owners and web bots alike.
